Customer Reviews
Good experience, minor issue
I booked tickets for the latest blockbuster and also got some popcorn and drinks online. The booking process was straightforward, and the luxury recliner seats were very comfortable, making the film enjoyable. Delivery wasn't applicable since it was an in-person visit, but the collection of snacks was quick. My only slight complaint is that the pick and mix sweets felt a bit overpriced for the portion size. Overall, good value for a nice evening out.
Good film, quick service
Booked tickets online for a film. Seats were nice. Got my popcorn fast. No problems. Enjoyed the movie.
Easy movie night
Went to see that new action movie with my friends last weekend. Booking online was super easy, just a few clicks. The cinema was clean and the seats were comfy. Grabbed some nachos too, they were decent. Had a good time, no complaints really.
Consistently reliable cinema
I've been a Premiere Member for a while now and usually visit The Light for my cinema trips. This time, I went for an IMAX screening, and as always, the experience was great. The sound and picture quality were top-notch. I appreciated the member discount on my tickets and snacks, which is why I keep coming back. It's consistently good, much like my previous visits for live event broadcasts and regular screenings. Booking was smooth as usual.
Great value with student discount
As a student, finding affordable entertainment is key. I used my student discount to book tickets for a film and saved a decent amount. The process to apply the discount online was simple enough. Felt like I got good value for my money, especially with the comfortable seating. I also considered getting a family ticket bundle but decided against it this time. Definitely a good option if you're on a budget.
Detailed visit experience
I decided to treat myself to a luxury recliner seat for a Friday night showing. The online booking system was intuitive; I selected my seats and added a hot dog and a craft beer to my order. Confirmation came through quickly. Upon arrival, collecting my food and drink was efficient, even though the cinema was quite busy. The recliner seat lived up to its name, very comfortable throughout the film. The screen and sound quality for the movie were excellent. Customer service at the concession stand was polite and quick. No issues with parking either; there was plenty available. A very pleasant experience from start to finish.

i have a blue light card, does The Light accept it for discounts on tickets?
Can I use my Meerkat Movies 2 for 1 deal at The Light? Trying to plan a cheap date night.
Anyone know if they do student discount? My uni ID is just collecting dust otherwise.
are you allowed to bring in your own snacks or do you have to buy their overpriced popcorn?
How do The Light's IMAX screens compare to like, Cineworld's? Is it a proper IMAX or a 'Liemax'?
